Jeff Fernandez was born and raised in West Michigan. He is a proud, first generation American and the son of a Cuban immigrant. Jeff has been married to Teresa for 14 years and has two children. He was a youth pastor and is currently a head pastor in Kalamazoo.

Jeff has been serving the people of Kalamazoo through volunteering with the Kalamazoo Deacons Conference, Loy Norrix High School, Intervarsity Campus Ministries, Paramount Charter Academy, and other local efforts. After Hurricane Katrina, he led more than 400 local people in relief efforts to the Gulf Coast.

Jeff is continuing his life-long mission of serving others by becoming your State Representative, where he will make decisions based on what benefits Kalamazoo and Michigan, not his career.
